I’m Michelle, a coach for everyday leaders: the volunteers, parents, and community members who lead out of care and rarely get a space of their own. Every leader hits seasons when the way forward isn’t clear, and most of us face them alone. I offer a place to slow down, be truly seen and heard, and listen to what’s already stirring within. Because when people know themselves, they lead with courage, and whole communities are held with more care.
Who I work with
Everyday leaders are people who lead out of care: in volunteer roles, in their communities, in their families. They give a lot, hold a lot, and often feel pressure to have it all figured out. Coaching is a space to set that down for an hour, slow down, and hear yourself think.
How I came to coaching
In college, I was stuck over-analysing a big decision. A trusted friend listened, then asked me one question without offering her own opinion: “In one word, do you want to do this or not?” I knew the answer immediately. It was my first experience of coaching, and it showed me how much clarity we already carry when someone makes room for it.
I grew up hearing that children should be seen and not heard. That’s why I care so much about people being both seen and heard, free from the pressure to perform in order to prove their worth.
How I work
I believe coaching is accompaniment. You set the tone, and we discover together with curiosity. I help clients name what they value, discern what is theirs to carry, and turn insight into action, so reflection leads somewhere instead of circling. I hold the future openly and the past lightly.
